A Therapy Practice based in Pasadena & online across California
You’re doing your best—but it’s exhausting.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, ADHD, or a life transition—or parenting a child who doesn’t fit into the mold—you might feel overwhelmed, unseen, or stuck. Therapy can be your space to exhale, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
Hi, I’m Kayla Tsongas, LCSW (she/her), a warm, relational therapist who helps adults and parents feel less alone in the complexity of their lives. I bring a psychodynamic and attachment-based lens to therapy—offering deep insight, compassionate presence, and practical support.

Therapy and Support for Parents
Virtual + In-Person Support
Parenting a neurodivergent or strong-willed child is intensely emotional and often isolating. I offer:
Individual therapy for parents to process identity shifts, burnout, and emotional overwhelm.
Parenting support starts with a structured 8-week approach during which we build individualized and tangible tools tailored to your family’s needs so you can begin parenting with more effectiveness and confidence.
My Philosophy
Whether you are an adult or parent, we all have an intricate internal emotional world that has been shaped by our experiences as we have grown into who we are today.
Taking time to deeply explore this internal emotional world is the most important first step in making significant shifts in your life, and I am ready to support you in doing this.
You are worthy of a life that feels fulfilling and to have a guide who can walk with you on the journey to get there.
I am committed to creating an environment of care and compassion, to works towards the understanding and acceptance of you as a whole person and pay attention to your individual needs. I vow to do my best to undo systemic harm, and I welcome people from all walks of life, cultural background, age, neurodivergence, gender identity, sexuality, ability and religion.
